Our home

Porcupine Ridge is a large graceful home of colonial design. The house is on two levels with verandahs running the full length of the house on both levels offering quite spectacular panoramic views of the Atlantic seaboard and Table Mountain. On the Ground floor there are 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom (2 ensuite) along with a large gracious dining room and kitchen. On the upper floor there is a large sitting room, study and another bathroom. There is a large terraced garden in front complete with pool. The back of the house borders directly onto the Table Mountain National Park and exposes the visitor to the Fauna and Flora (Fynbos) that is so unique to the Cape.

Who we are

  1. We are Philip and Dee. Both of us are Capetonians but have spent a good part of our lives living and working in Europe and North America. Dee had a career as a professional singer and travelled extensively in support of many famous artists. I in turn had a corporate career working for a large multinational water treatment company based in Chicago. We now spend 3-4 months of the year travelling between Cape Town and our Yacht (presently in Hawaii) visiting family in Europe and the US on the way. We are available for non simultaneous exchanges.
