Our home

Our house is quite old, but we have renovated it since three years. It consists of two practically separate flats, which are on the ground-floor. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms (the first one with a bath and shower and the second one with a shower), a big living room with a fireplace. We have a big garden near the house, enough place for car parking, a garage, a grassy courtyard. We have a big dog, which lived in a kennel. It needs care. But it is not the problem of our visitors. If we are out, someone of our friends or family, who lives in the neighbourhood, comes and feeds it.
We have a table for table tennis, what is good for rainy days. And free internet.

Who we are

  1. Who are we? My name is Tadeusz, the father. I am a biochemist and my wife Beata is a teacher. We have two sons: Tomasz (16) and Lukasz (13).
We love to travel, to meet people from other countries, to visit historical places or beautiful sanctuaries. We have done 2 home exchanges so far (France and Sicily).

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a suburban part of Cracow (Kraków). There was a village many years ago. There is no more than 10 km to the center of the town, The Main Market. You can get there by car or by public transport (the cost is 1 euro). There is a forest no more than 1 km with many bike routes and beautiful zoo-park. In Cracow you can see the Royal Castle, the Old Town with many old churches, museums, galleries, the jewish district – Kazimierz. There is Wieliczka, small town near Cracow, with its unique salt mine. You can make a trip to Tatra Mountains and Zakopane and other famous places.
