Who we are

  1. I am a 35 year old medicine doctor (male). I work far too much but I make the effort to go on holiday on regular basis. I love sightseeing, visiting new places and meeting new people. There is no better way of getting to know a place than by living like a local - usually with my partner.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Gdynia is a seaside town built from a scratch in the 1920s. It has retained the 20s and 30s atmosphere with its architecure, wide street and boulevards. It will take you 10 minutes by car to reach the beach from the apartment. The spa town of Sopot which boasts a unique fin du siecle architecture is 15 minutes drive away and the over-1000 year old historic city of Gdansk is 20 minutes by car. Gdynia has an easy access to the Hel Peninsula either by car, train or sea tram. Hel is the place in Poland to go surfing and enjoy the Baltic white sand beaches. There is a number of local villages or towns worth visiting for culinary purposes as the old palaces have often been converted into restaurants. The regional must-sees such as the largest medival castle in Europe - Malbork (Marienburg) or the historical town of Frombork are within 90 minute drive or train ride. You might also like to venture on a whole day trip to Torun - the Polish capital of gingerbread or to the former concentration camp in Stutthof. If you like to walk, there is plenty of forests and lakes in the area which you might want to visit. If you like hunting, it is possible to arrange for you to go hunting in Poland. http://www.en.gdansk.gda.pl/ http://maps.google.pl/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=pl&geocode=&q=gryfa+pomorskiego+54+gdynia&sll=54.469738,18.537025&sspn=0.051874,0.154495&ie=UTF8&ll=54.500353,18.680878&spn=0.207342,0.617981&t=h&z=11 http://guide.trojmiasto.pl/ http://www.gdynia.pl/eng/
