Our home

Our home is an apartment on the top floor of our 5 room beachfront B&B. The apartment has an open plane living/dining and kitchenette + 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The main feature of our place is a spacious covered terrace with a spectacular view of the beach and the Pacific. The private terrace is the perfect place to relax in a hammock! As the apartment only has 1 bedroom we would be able to offer a second bedroom if needed from the B&B.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with an electric induction plate, microwave and other appliances.

The apartment is nicely decorated and has teak flooring throughout - you would have access to the B&B downstairs and the large communal terrace.

Who we are

  1. My husband, Rigo, and I have been married for 20 years. I have am originally from the UK but have lived in Panama for 22 years. We have 3 grown children and they have all left home, so we have more time to travel. We have had our B&B for 9 years now and work from November - April which is our busy season. The rest of the year we try to get away, either go exploring around Panama or further afield.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Playa Uverito is a small beachfront community 10km from the town of Las TAblas on Panama's Azuero Peninsula. The beach is a safe swimming beach and is deserted during the week - it can get pretty lively at the weekend and during holidays. There are 5 seafood restaurants all within walking distance.

This is NOT the place to come for nightlife or shopping...it is a very rural area and is very quiet most of the year....Las TAblas however does host some large traditional festivals - notably the 1000 pollera parade in January and Panama's largest carnaval celebrations are held here.

Dec- Apr is the dry season and the climate is somewhat cooler with a pleasant breeze. The beach is great for wind/kitesurfing during this time of the year.
