Our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, family friendly. It has a large kitchen with adjoining dining room. Three living rooms, two fireplaces, four bedrooms, and an apartment attached to the house. Perfect for teenagers! Only a minute bicycle-ride to the beach, and five minutes to our boat. Beautiful nature, friendly neighbors, and a beautiful view at the beach. We love spending time in our home and having friends over, it is warm and inviting.

We also have a cabin in the mountains, 1000 m.o.h. Perfect for fishing and with a beautiful nature.

Who we are

We are Inger and Fred Olav, a married couple with three teenagers, Martine, Iselin and Bendik. We are both professionals (counselor and teacher) and enjoy traveling when able to get away. Mostly during summer. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sound like a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Norway.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Situated in a calm area, with a beach closely. Quiet, but also near the city and good shopping. A 15 minute bicycle ride to the city, but only a 5 minute ride to the closest grocery stores and restaurants. The neighbours are always nice and very helpful.
