Our apartment is large and classy with high ceilings, stucco decoration, wooden floors and fire places in many rooms. We are on the 3rd floor and get lots of light overlooking the roofs of the downtown area. We have a large dining room, a living room and a library, which can be used as a guest room (with sofa that sleeps 2). The kitchen is spacious and opens up to the 6m2 south facing balcony. All the bedrooms are towards the quiet backyard and garden. We have lots of norwegian and international contemporary art in the house and our interior design is a mix out of scandinavian vintage, contemporary and antique.
“After a not simultaneous exchange with our apartment in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (Alpes-Maritimes) which very well took place, we went to Berlin where we passed excellent week in Andrea and Erik Kroksnes’ home. Their apartment is pleasant, clear and very quiet. The district is absolutely charming and by bus we are very fast in the center of Berlin. We liked a lot this city. We are very satisfied with our exchange of house with Andréa and Erik.”

We are a Norwegian/German family: Erik (46), Andrea (39) and Dagny. Erik is a gallerist and Andrea is a senior curator at the National Museum. We both work with contemporary art and love to travel to keep ourselves updated but also for pure pleasure. Dagny is a cute and gentle 3 year old girl. We have done 3 successful house swaps and really love it. We also have a nice second home in Berlin that we would like ot offer to you too. We are very serious about taking care of your house. Due to our jobs we have learned to handle things with care and would certainly do so with your property.
We live in the heart of Oslo, right next to the royal castle and with the fjord at your feet. It is the most beautiful and popular area of oslo with most of the best restaurants, galleries/museums and shops in a few minutes of walking distance. Oslo is a calm but trendy Scandinavian capital surrounded by breathtaking landscape. The Oslo fjord is perfect for sailing, swimming or other water sports in the summer. The mountains that surround the city are excellent for hiking and mountain biking. Oslo is a convenient base for day trips into the spectacular Norwegian countryside. In the summer the sun shines until 11pm and longer.
