Our home

We bought and renovated our apartment in 2009. There are 2 bedrooms: 1 for the kids(bunk bed) and a large bedroom for parents. We also have a baby cot available.
It is bright and spacious, with a all-in-one kitchen and livingroom. 16 people can be seated for meals. A practical separate laundry room with spacious closets, one bathroom.
The balcony overlooks our tenniscourt and garden with playgrounds and barbeque facilities.
We have a cleaning service once a week that will work for you if you wish.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My husband and I, 39 years old, both work as advisors in the Customer Experience / IT industry. Our roots are in Western Norway where the famous mountains and fjords are, but we have settled well in Oslo. We have two kids 2 and 4 years old keeping us busy besides work. Love traveling, speak fluent English and some French.
I have started on a Master of Management programme, through which we might go to USA or Singapore for 3-4 months in 2012. Hopefully, Home exchange is an option for finding accommodation.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located in Oslo's most beautiful street (we think)in the Adamstuen area. Very central (5 mins to downtown by bus), yet quiet and peaceful. Oslo has a lot to offer (see visitoslo.com). Our favorites are the skating rink and hill for sledging across the street, the green St. Hans Haugen park for picknicks and exercise, and nice bakery nearby for fresh croissants and lovely coffee. A local shopping street is nearby, unless you want to go downtown.
Whether you want to ski in the winter or swim in the summer, it can all be reached within 15 minutes by bike or public transport.
From downtown you have access to trains, buses and ferries taking you out in the beautiful nature surrounding Oslo.
