Our home

Our house is spacious and has a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook,you can keep your wine perfectly chilled in the wine cabinet, and get ice cubes from the american fridge.

There are to living rooms with flatscreen tv’s. The one upstairs has PlayStation 3 and 4 with lots of games. There’s a good sized garden with a big patio , trampoline and a relaxing Jacuzzi. The house is well equipt for kids with lots of toys, boardgames and highchairs etc.
The neighborhood is quit and nice with playgrounds nearbye. There’s a hiking trail right outside the house, and lots of beautiful Norwegians nature and places to hike nearby .You can walk or ride a bike to the sluice where the canal boats of the Telemark canal (amazing trip) goes. Theres a 10-15 min drive to shopping and rastaurants. Theres also walking
distance to a cozy beach, and short driving distance to many other beaches.

  1. We’re a couple who has three boys ages 10,6 and2. We just joined hfe and are exited to do our first swap!

  2. Kristian works at the railways and Henriette works in a kindergarden.

  3. We love experiencing new cultures.

Skien is a beautiful small town 2,5 hours from Oslo.It’s the birthplace of the famous writer Henrik Ibsen and you can visit his childhood home. It’s also where the Telemark canal starts. There’s two shopping malls, and many good restaurants in the city center. If you visit this site you will Get alot of information about what’s nearbye. For daytrips there’s a great zoo a couple of hours away and less then an hour away is Norways biggest waterpark.
