Our home
Charming house, 20 minutes from the capital Oslo, close to the beach, marina and forest. Our house is a comfortable, bright and spacious 2 story house, with a green garden located close to the beach by the fjord! There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, all with double beds and there is also a pull-out-couch which sleeps 2. Big fully equipped kitchen with attached dining area, and two living areas. There is a spectacular view out over the Oslofjord from every room. And every room has a balcony. There is a fire place inside and also a BBQ outside on the balcony. Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, one with shower and one with a tub. A small cabin with a sleeping-sofa for two persons, tv, internett, pc etc. is also a part of the property. There is garage with a car (Volkswagen Passat) available and also a cosy boat house with a motor boat available for use!

Who we are

We are a married couple in our 50's, we both work full time, as an Assistant Director General and Senior adviser. We have a a teenage son playing soccer, piano and gitar and a daugther studying in France, Montpellier. We have done a house exchange 3 times (Australia and Paris, Le Cannes), and it have been great. We think it is the best way of having holidays, and we had a lovely time both in Australia and France. We love to travel and meet new people, and we try to combine cultural life with outdoor sporty activities. We look forward to hearing from you. We will do our best to help you having a nice holiday experience in our house in Norway. We like to do houseexchange in the spring and summer 2017

Nice and friendly villa area with a lot of friendly neighbors, mainly with family houses.
There is a marina and a beach 50 meters from the house which is very popular in the summer time. There are good opportunities for hiking and cycling in the area (and there are 4 adult and 3 kids bicycles available for use). Swimming, fishing and boat activities. There are restaurants, shopping-centers and galleries in the area, and the capital Oslo is only a 20 minute idyllic ferry ride away!
