Our home

We offer a beauty full country house by the sea.
The house has 3 bedrooms, one with double bed, one with 2 single beds and one with a large single bed.
The kitchen has all you need and a table with space for 6 people.
The living room has one sofa and 3 chairs, TV, dvd and stereo.
The bath has a sink, toilet, shower and a washing machine.
Outside there are a large terrace with a sitting group and a barbecue.

  1. We are Lajla and Per-Børge, a married couple with 2 boys on 11 and 14 years. We like traveling and to explore new places.

Where is it?

The place is in lovely Hamarøy in the northern part of Norway. We have the midnight-sun in the summer and the Northern Lights in the winter.Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFHqZt4JKro
The house is in a very quiet place with spectacular nature. It often happens that you can see Moose and Sea Eagle nearby.
There are great opportunities for hiking in the mountains and by the sea.
It`s possible to rent a boat for sea fishing.
From the kitchen window you can see Tranøy Fyr that is a nice place to visit: http://tranoyfyr.no/tranøy-fyr/aerial-photos/
15 km from our place there are some shops and restaurants and the museum of the writer Knut Hamsun.http://hamsunsenteret.no/no/
It`s also possible to take the ferry from Skutvik to Svolvær(Lofoten)if you drive 20 km.
It`s possible to rent canoes or kayak to paddle in the sea.
In the winter we have Ulvsvågskaret that is a ski sport place.
