Our home

Welcoming white villa, 2 stories, overlooking Randsfjord, the 3. largest fjord of Norway. Modern, comfortable and spacious Scandinavian style.
Bedrooms upstairs. Two large bedrooms with double-beds and one smaller one with bunk bed. Baby bed optional.
Practical, clean kitchen where the whole family can gather to eat.
Living room has even bigger table for dining with 12 people. Modern sofa to lounge and enjoy a film on the home movie-theater or read a book from our library.
Easy access to spacious veranda from living room. Nature spoils us here with fabulous sunsets over the fjord.
We enjoy the abundance of berries and fruit in the garden. You can handpick your breakfast, dessert.
Own beach with boat dock at sweet water fjord where we greatly enjoy swimming, fishing and kayaking. Great for BBQ-ing and staying the whole summers-day.

Who we are

We are Lars and Inge, a married couple with two children, 9 and 12 years. We are art teachers and glass-designers. We want to give our children travelling experiences to learn about different cultures on this beautiful planet.
This time our children have chosen the destination. It is our daughter's pursuit of becoming a professional mermaid :)

Surroundings breath peace and tranquility.
10 min drive to main shops at Gran, Jevnaker or Brandbu. Closest place at 4 min drive, Grymyr,has small shop.
Canoeing and hiking are at hand everywhere. Close to one of Scandinavians largest interconnecting lakes at Fjorda. Ideal for pitching a tent and staying over a night.
Nearby, in Jevnaker, you will find one of Norways biggest tourist-attractions, Hadeland Glassverk (The biggest glassworks of Norway) and Kistefoss-museum (Open air sculpture-park with internationally acclaimed artists and outstanding summer exhibitions.)
Sentral location, one hour drive to Oslo, Vikingskip museum, Munch museum, Vigelandparken...
One hour to Oslo (Gardemoen) National airport.
