Our home

Our home is our castle!
It is build 1963, and has been many changes after that. It is cosy, comfortable and practical. There is 4 beds, and can have more if needed. Downstairs in the basement is washing room, little bedroom (the 3 rd bedroom) and Finnish sauna.

We have 2 lounge and open kitchen. There are to terrace, if it is very hot, man can sleep also there, I do often.
Our home is also Nikken home. We have 3 nikken magnet madrass and 2 magnet cushions. I take mine with me where ever I go.

Breakfast is great to eat in the terrace.

  1. We are international family. My husbands comes from Caribian, Trinidad and I come from Finland. We have one son 15 years old, football player

    We travel every summer. This is the very first time we try homeforexchange.

    I'am working in kindergarden right now, looking for new job from school as special pedagog. My husband has lately retired and he enjoy to work round the house.
    We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. We do not drink alcohol or smoke.

The house is by the side of big forest, Frdrikstadmarka, there is 3 inside lakes and hundreds of pathways ot walk, take the horse ride or bicycle.
It takes 20 min to walk to the town. 15 min to drive to the seaside.
15 min drive to the 2 closest towns, Hvaler and Sarpsborg.

Hvaler is 5 - 6 islands, there is also 3,8 km tunnel under the sea. Most popular cottage site in Norway. Many celebrities have cottages there. A good fishing, swimming and camping place. Wonderful place. Other town is Sarpsborg, known its summer theaters and musicals every summer.

It s 88 km to Oslo.
