Our home

Cosy wooden Scandinavian home with big garden, having a playground as well. House is suitable for families with children, or couples. Two big sleeping rooms, possibility for a baby cot. Two bathrooms, one en-suite. Big living room with attached conservatory. Huge terrace and balcony. Nice furniture with careful mix of modern and old, and many special/artificial features. Beautiful view to mountains and sea from the balcony and garden.

Who we are

Family with 3 small children, very travel experienced (for years, all over the world), employed in the public sector. Climate scientist and coastal zone planner. Mother in finaly phase of PhD-studies, needs a quiet place to work, while the children and Dad should enjoy the beach close to the house, eventually a pool. We take care of your garden, flowers and animals, and we are very conscious of respecting others' privacy, culture and demands.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Quiet villa neigbourhood with mostly single houses and huge gardens. Just 200 meters to the recreation area, beach, fjord and fishing area. 30 meters to the bus. City center of Bergen is 10 minutes drive. Golf court is 5 minutes drive away, harbour about the same distance. Shop 500 meters, big shopping center 4 minutes by car. If you like to hike in the mountains, its just 5 minutes drive to the closest paths wich brings you up to phantastic altitues with great view over the fjords and open sea.
Bergen, the Nordic capital of the fjords, is a famous Hanseatic city, on the UNESCO-site, and has a lot to offer of nature and culture experience. Beautiful and active fish-market, daily. Great for out-door people and families with kids. Lots and lots of excursions available, we will help you to set up an interesting program for your stay.
