Our home

Norway is the land of the midnight sun. Bergen is called "the gateway to the fjords". We have an apartment(130 sq.m, two floors) close to the city center of Bergen. 10 sq.m. balcony with sun all day until appr. 11pm. and view of some of the city centre and the harbour. In the frontside there is a playing field for children. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood!
We would like to exchange home 1-2 weeks during the summer 2008.

Property features

Who we are

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Bergen is the 2. largest city in Norway, situated on the west coast. The city is surrounded by 7 mountains and fjords. Our apartment is located near by the highest mountain, Ulriken (642 m. high) with magnificant view over the city. Regular buses buses every 15 min. to the city centre (journey takes appr. 15 min) from a bus stop 150 metres from our apartement. You can also use our 4 bikes to get around. Bergen is a tourist friendly city and here you can find a lot of tourist attractions. Edvard Grieg - the famous composer - was born here. His home is now a museum. The town also has a popular aqvarium. The oldest building is the Maria church which is from the 12.th century
It is fun to go hiking in all the 7 mountains, or take a cable car to the top of mount Ulriken or mount Floyen. The city was funded over 900 years ago. Find out more about Bergen on www.uib.no/guide/index.html
