Our home

My apartment is beautiful. It is at the east end of the building so it is surrounded by the sea on three sides overlooking Wellington harbour and surrounding bays.
Lovely for watching activity on the harbour - cruise ships, ferries, cargo ships, kayaks, swimmers...ever changing and magical.
It is one bedroom but there is also a couch/double bed in the lounge.

Who we are

  1. Hi. I am Sally - an Arts Manager, 54 years old. My passion is for the arts and culture.
I am the Producer and Administrator of Summer Shakespeare ( and the Manager of the Emerging Artists Trust (

I like to stay in large, richly artistic/cultural cities for up to four weeks - perhaps two or three exchanges. I have enjoyed three exchanges in Paris, and one in Rome.

My beautiful apartment is my primary home and non-simultaneous exchanges are possible most of the year, except for 15 January until early March because of my involvement with the annual Shakespeare production.

I am clean, tidy and reliable and will look after your home as if it were my own.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Roseneath is an up-market area in Wellington. It is a beautiful 15 minute seaside walk around Oriental Parade to the city. There is also a bus stop immediately beside the building.
In the immediate environment are lovely walks (Wellington has a Green Belt all the way around it), parks and the bays.

Wellington is the Cultural Capital of New Zealand with a lot of theatre, film festivals, cultural festivals, museums, galleries and great food.

Wellington is a very good central place to explore the whole of New Zealand.
My home is 4kms to the airport, an 80 minute drive to the Wairarapa wine region, an hour to the Kapiti coast and 10 minutes to the ferry that sails to the South island four times a day.
