Our home

This is a lovely warm house with large sunny rooms and new kitchen and carpet and new paint. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac road and on a flat section which is rare in hilly Wellington. There is large fully fenced garden with off street parking for two cars. The house has two bedrooms and a large living room and dining room and open kitchen. The living room has large ranch sliding door opening onto a sunny deck.

Who we are

  1. I am working as a teacher in Wellington. This is my first time listing my home for home exchange. I enjoy music, books and fishing. I hope with this home exchange listing I may get to visit different places and learn about the local cultures and taste local cuisines. I am very security conscious and tidy. I would look after your place as my own and expect you to do the same.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Karori is one of the top neighbourhood in Wellington. Our home is close to bus stop (5 min around the corner) and only 5 minutes drive to the local shopping mall and library. Karori is also home of Zealandia Bird Santuary ( and Makara Peak Mountain Bike tracks. It's only 15 minutes drive into Wellington CBD and also 15 minutes to Makara beach and the wind turbines there. There are many hiking tracks within one minute walk from my house. Makara beach also draws a lot of fishermen and hikers.
