Our home

Big and Beautiful Home located in Totara, Thames. Totara is 1 minute drive to Thames and 1 hour from Auckland airport. A few minutes driving from many boat ramps in Thames Coast Road and just 40 minutes from astonishing beaches in Tairua and Pauanui. In an hour you can reach Cathedral Cove and Hot Water beach. You’ll have the whole Coromandel Peninsula to explore.
Our home is a spacious 2 storey house, groundfloor:
· Modern kitchen with dining area
· Massive living room
· Separate family/media/rumpus room
· Large bedroom with ensuite shower & toilet
· Shower & toilet

Upstairs:
· 4 large bedrooms,
· Separate bathroom and toilet,
· Office (could be another bedroom)

Large garage which includes a laundry

The house is very spacious, with high ceilings throughout. It is orientated to maximise the sunlight with 7 sets of French doors giving access to the decks and balcony with views to the Firth of Thames, race course & Kauraenga valley. All bedrooms upstairs have impressive views.
The house is cosy in the winter as it has a heat pump in the kitchen-living area, a fire place in the living room (July 2008) & a ducted HVAC system upstairs. Both the roof and floor are well insulated & the house gets the sun all day. 2 hot water cylinders, modern kitchen appliances.
Section is 3017 square meters which gives the house privacy from the neighbours & enough space to have all the amenities: spa pool, pizza oven, fire-wood storage, vege plot & lots of fruit trees. Enough space to park your cars, caravan & boat. The garden is low maintenance and has a couple of fenced areas to keep your dog safe.
Totara is a highly desirable area to live as it’s a lovely neighbourhood, quiet and ideal for families. Tony Avenue is a cul-de-sac and the house well off the road: it’s quiet and safe.
This house is a very special historic house: built in the 1880’s in the centre of Thames, it was relocated to Totara in the 1980s.
