Our home

Our gorgeous sunny apartment is on the 15th floor overlooking Tauranga Harbour in the Bay of Plenty, 2.5 hrs drive time from Auckland, 1 hour to the main tourist destinations of Rotorua, Whakatane, Waihi Beach & Hobbiton (Middle Earth). 2 hours to Taupo & over the hills to Hawkes Bay, so you are perfectly situated to explore the best of New Zealand's North Island. Stunning sandy beaches easily reached by bus or 15 mins by car. You will love this place! The en suite bathroom is currently being completely renovated, so no photos yet. It will be awesome! The second bedroom is furnished with a sofa bed, that folds out to a queen bed. The large second bathroom has a shower over bath & laundry facilities.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We're a couple with grown up children and we love to travel. Tony is originally from the UK, so we would like to house swap in 2019 with someone in the UK, including Scotland, Ireland & Wales who would like to explore "Downunder" so we can spend more time in his home country.

  2. We are both semi-retired, so are flexible in our travel dates. Obviously we would prefer Spring through to Autumn.

  3. We both enjoy good music, theatre, history, good wine and good food!
