Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Waiheke Island is a short 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Our house is a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal. There are buses and taxis from the terminal and the house is very close to the bus stop. You can also catch a bus from the house to other areas on the island.
The house is located in a lovely peaceful spot but yet only a 10 minute walk to the main village of Oneroa. We often get Pukekos, Tui, Kereru (wood pigeon), families of ducks visiting and Godwits arrive at Blackpool Beach from Alaska.
There are many bush walks, wineries, beaches, art galleries, cafes, restaurants on the island.
