Our home

Our house is a 4 year old bungalow. There are 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms and a garden with patio and lawn. The outside area is perfect for evening barbeques with a bottle of local wine. There is a double garage with table tennis table. Water is solar heated and we have a heat pump/air conditioner in the main living area. It is a comfortable home that is easy to look after. We also have lovely neighbours!

Property features

Who we are

  1. David and I are both teachers in our mid thirties. Our son, James, was born in January 2008. We are British and have been living in sunny Hawkes Bay since Sept 2007. We love it! We hope to organise a swap back to the UK at Xmas and are also interested in travelling around NZ. We are tied to the school holidays but are happy to give anywhere a go. We have never house swapped before, but would look after your home as if it were our own.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Havelock North. Havelock North has many cafes and small shops. Te Mata peak can be seen from the front of the house and has some lovely walking and biking. There are 5 wineries within walking distance and many more in the vicinity. Ocean Beach is a 15 minute drive, as are Cape Kidnappers and its gannets and Hastings and Napier - famed for their Art Deco buildings.
