Our home

Our large, sunny and warm family home is only 8 years old, and is made up of 4 large bedrooms, 2 seperate lounges, a dining area, a study and a great kitchen. The master bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, and the other bedrooms are all large and have double wardrobes. The main lounge has a fireplace, and the kitchen has a large pantry and modern appliances. There is a separate laundry room, and a double external garage. All of our furniture is modern and comfortable. Our home has large grounds made up of great lawns and gardens, with established trees. There is a large vegetable garden for your use as well. Our entire property has extensive views of nearby Mount Pirongia. We would also consider leaving our vehicle if needed. As well as our home, we have a small, funky 2 bedroom seaside cottage at Whangamata on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula (1.5 hours away) that you would be welcome to use also. Our Seaside cottage is an ideal base for touring the Coromandel Peninsula, and Whangamata is one of the best and safest surf beaches in New Zealand.

Who we are

  1. We have the typical New Zealand family - Mum, Dad and two kids. "Mum" is Liz, 35 years old and a school teacher at the local school. "Dad", Glenn is 39 years old and is a senior Police officer in Hamilton. Our kids (Lauren 8 and David 7) are both very well behaved. We are all reliable, conscientious, careful and trustworthy. We want to take our children to Europe and give them the opportunity to live in different cultures.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ngahinapouri is a small tightknit community about 10mins to the west of Hamilton City. The community is centred around a small village that has a country school and golf course. Hamilton is built on the banks of the Waikato River, and is the capital city of the Waikato Province. It is a small, safe city that has everything that you need - shoppng, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants etc. We are very central to most places in the North Island of New Zealand, with the biggest city, Auckland, only one hour north. The main tourist cities of Rotorua and Taupo are also only an hour away. Surfing, skiing, hiking, fishing, vineyards, and beaches (both east and west coast) are all only day trips at most. We live in a healthy, clean, green, beautiful, safe, quiet and picturesque place, great for relaxing and touring.
