Who we are

  1. I am semi retired and have traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and the Americas over many years. I used to work in the airline business and I currently guide tours in Auckland museum. I have lived in New Zealand for 35 years - originally from British Isles. I love to travel and experience different cultures and meet new people. I would like to spend 6 weeks in North America on the Pacific coast in June/ July 2010.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is located just off the CBD, 5 minutes walk to Auckland's Town Hall, Aotea Performing Arts Centre and the main drag Queen St. Nearby also is the Central library, Art gallery and Auckland Museum. It is about 15 minutes walk to downtown and the harbour. There are convenience stores, boutique shops, bars and clubs, just 10 minutes walk away. Sky City casino is a 5 min walk away. The apartment location is handy to everything the central part of the city has to offer. A 10 min ferry ride from Auckland harbour takes you to quaint historical Devonport village & nearby scenic Cheltenham Beach, which overlooks extinct volcanic Rangitoto Island.
