Our home

My name is Pauline and I live with my German husband, Uwe, and our 2 kids Michael 3yrs and Bridey 5yrs.
We have a homely 3 bedroom, open plan house which is a stone's throw to the water's edge. (maybe you need a strong arm)
The apartment is located directly beside the house. Both enjoy the seaview.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My husband, Uwe, works full time and I operate a small unit as tourist accommodation. Uwe also sells organic juice at the market each saurday morning and I teach adult literacy once a week. I'm also an English Language teacher.
    Our garden is chemical free.
We have enjoyed having travellers stay with us over the past few months and now it's our turn to visit family and friends in Europe.
We are community oriented people who love our little island.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on Waiheke Island which is a 35minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Surfdale Beach is a 2 minute walk away down a track opposite our house. We have a canoe on the beach which you're welcome to use.

Waiheke is becoming something of a tourist mecca for Aucklanders due to its beaches and scenery although as yet unspoiled by this activity.
Please check out our webpage on www.waiheke.co.nz/atthepoint.

Waiheke has a broad-minded and cosmopolitan community which is a joy for such a small, beautiful island. Alternative minded people have been drawn here for decades.
