Our home

Our home is in a quiet cul de sac. the kitchen is small but convenient and is adjacent to a comfortable dining/living area with views over a valley with houses and trees. There is a deck off the dining room. There are 2 double bedrooms, an office with a single bed, and a bathroom with bath and shower over the bath, and toilet on this level. There is also another separate toilet. Down a spiral staircase there is a rumpus room with a slate pool table and table tennis table. In the basement is also another double bedroom, bathroom and the laundry.
We have enjoyed living in this house for 33 years.

Who we are

  1. We are Norma and Ray, in our late 60's and early 70's. Norma plays competative tennis and Ray continues to use his carpentry skills when required. We have biked several of the trails that have opened, the most recent of these has been the West Coast Wilderness trail from Greymouth to Ross in December 2015. Last year we also cycled in Europe. One round Lake Constance and the other from Bordeaux to Sarlat in France. Over the years we have walked many of New Zealand's great walks.
We have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
