Water fun:

"Rhederlaag is an unique recreational area nearby Velp with a direct connection to the IJssel.

The beautiful beaches at Giesbeek and Lathum are very suitable for swimming, sunbathing, playing or surfing. Nudist recreation is permitted on the Bahrse beach, on the south-west side of Grand Cafe Rutgers. Obviously there are toilets (including disabled) and kiosks.

Access to the park is free. The area is open from sunrise to sunset. For parking your car, you pay a fee.
Dogs are not allowed in the summer season (April 1 to October 1)."
