Our home

Our house has a very nice atmosphere. It was built in 1926. Most of the original ornaments are still there, which gives it a pleasant appearance, but the house has also modern comfortness. It's a three store building. The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen with direct entrance to the small but cozy city garden. And a livingroom 'en suite'. On the first floor are the the master bedroom and the room of our 12 year old daughter. Also the bathroom with shower and separate bath. On the second floor there are two more rooms which can be used as a bedroom.

Who we are

  1. We are Frits and Petra, a couple with one child: a fiftheen years old girl. Frits works as a journalist at a television station. Petra is working for an institute of art education. Before we became parents we travelled a lot, all over the world, by all means of transport. When our daughter was still small we enjoyed many vacations at campsites. Nowadays we prefer to stay in a private house instead of all the vacation resorts. Hope you can make us happy.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Only 5 minutes walk of the medieval centre of our city. The cathedral St. Jan is one of the most famous cathedrals of the Netherlands, especially a visit worth. Only one hour by train from Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Maastricht. And one and a half hour from Belgium cities Antwerp, Gent and Brussels. Nearby is the fairytail and attractionpark De Efteling.
Next door is a very good, typical Italian restaurant. With much more nice restaurants in the neighbourhood and city centre. In august there will be a yearly famous theatrefestival, with outstanding cultural performances in a very cozy atmosphere.
's-Hertogenbosch (Bois le Duc) is the city where Jheronimus Bosch (El Bosco) lived 500 years ago. There is a Jheronimus Bosch art centre which is surely worth a visit.
