Our home

We have a large, modern and comfortable home which was built in the 1930's. We started renovating it 5 years ago. We aren't completely finished, but we are getting there.

The ground floor is an open kitchen with a dining area.
On the first floor is the sitting room, a seperate workroom and a pantry .
The master bedroom is on the second floor. As well as our first bathroom, with a bubble bath and a separate shower. A separate toilet and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
On the third floor there are two double bedrooms, a second bathroom with a bath and a shower and a separate toilet.

We have a private garden, which is connected to a closed communal garden we share with our neighbours.
We also have a private roof terrace.

We live with our cat Moby Dick. If you like feline company he will be happy to stay. If not Moby will be staying with friends.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a quiet street just close to the city centre of Rotterdam. Rotterdam is a beautiful city, packed with modern architecture and lots of water and bridges. It is even voted one of the top 10 cities to visit by the New York Times & Rough Guides:

Our home is close to public transport: 3 tramlines a busline and the metro stop at walking distance, and of course we have bikes to explore the city!

Rotterdam Central station is 10 minutes by tram. Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris have a direct train connection. We live close to the highway, which take you to several nice beaches in just 25-35 minutes, and to a lot of great dutch towns within 1 hour. (Amsterdam, The Hague, Delft, Leiden, Utrecht).
