Our home

We've been living here for almost a year now. It's near downtown Rotterdam. It's also near a trainstation (5 minutes on foot). We have 2 bedrooms (one is currently used for hobby purpose only), en large livingroom and also a large kitchen. It's on the third floor of a four story building. We have two balconies. One on the north side, one on the south side.

Who we are

  1. My name is Steven and I'm living with my friend Mark. I have my own company and Mark works at a hotel near the beach. We're both creative people who have their lives built around the idea of making our hobby into a fulltime job one day. While we're busy doing that, we'd love to see the world.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Near downtown Rotterdam. Lot's of restaurants, museums, bars, clubs. 10 minute drive to downtown Rotterdam, 20 minute drive to beach, 45 minute drive to downtown Amsterdam.

Rotterdam is a vibrant international city. A city that accommodates 600.000 people and no less than 160 different nationalities. The Rotterdam region has a total of 1,2 million inhabitants. These people give Rotterdam the international atmosphere you feel everywhere you go. This global feeling is due to the fact that Rotterdam is situated on the water and for forty consecutive years has been the world’s largest port.

There are some 2000 restaurants with kitchens of all nationalities, from snack bars to restaurants with renowned top chefs. The only three-Michelin-star restaurant in The Netherlands can be found right here in Rotterdam. In terms of culture and nightlife there is much to discover. Night clubs with hot DJs and VJs, no less than 25 museums, like the well-known museum Boymans Van Beuningen, the renowned Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in the concert hall De Doelen and many acts of international top artists in the Ahoy hall and over 35 other theatres.
Rotterdam is a fervent festival city, where the World Port Days, the Summer Carnival, the Dance Parade and the International Film Festival attract many visitors. The Zoo with its Oceanium - a walk through an aquarium with sharks and turtles - is also well worth a visit.
