Our home

My home is small home, but very cosy and comfortable. Downstairs is the livingroom and kitchen and a nice garden with a terrace and with terracefurniture. The garden is very sunny on the southwest. There are 2 sleepingrooms on the first floor. One with with a kingsize bed and tv, and 1 bedroom with a single bed. The house has a few adjustments for the disabled, like a stairlift.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

My home is in a quiet street in the south of Rotterdam with helpful and friendly neighbours. It is located near a large park and 2,5 km from a large shoppingmall. Within walking distance of concerthall Ahoy (see www.ahoy.nl) which offers concerts of worldfamous artists and for instance the Northsea Jazzfestival. If you would be visiting a concert you can simply walk home afterwards in 10-15 min. walk. At the centre of Rotterdam are many musea, excellent restaurants, theaters, concerthall, zoo, boattrips etc. The harbour and the modern architecture of Rotterdam are famous. By car it's only 10 minutes drive to the centre of town, but a parkingplace is hard to find and the parkingfees are pretty high. Better take the tram (3 min. walk) which brings you to the the centre within 15 minutes. Do visit Amsterdam (70 km), the bulb fields in springtime and other interesting cities like Delft (20 km), Gouda (30 km). Even Belgium is very close: Antwerp is only 1 hour drive from my home.
