Our home

Nice small apartment in historical centre of Amsterdam. The front door is shared with 5 other apartments. The isolation is not very good (sound and heat). There is a gas heater. There is one bedroom and 2 double matresses so you could sleep with 2 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. The kitchen is in the living room. It is very plain and simple since I am a student. But it is ideally located and the basic things you need are there. You can feel free to smoke, bring kids, bring guests. I wouldn't recommend to bring a pet because the house is small. But I wouldn't forbid it. The balcony is very small. It fits 1 person. But you can open the doors.

Who we are

  1. I am a medical student. I still have one more year to go and then I would like to move to Italy and try to find work...
I live in my apartment alone. I really enjoy it. I have friends from abroad coming over at times and everybody loves the house. I speak Dutch, English, Italian, Spanish, German, and a bit of French and Turkish. I like to have international contacts.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Historical centre, area is called Jordaan. It is in a little side street where there is little traffic. But just around the corner you can find a big street with public transport. 10 minutes walk to main squares dam and Leidseplein. 5 minutes to Anne Frank house. All clubs, shops, canals etcetera nearby. Lots of public transport nearby. Parking is a problem. But if you come by car there is a parking building 5 minutes walk, it's just very expensive. You can use my two bikes that are parked near the house. There are many different things to do in Amsterdam. There are parks, coffeeshops, clubs, museums, canals, flowers, a lot of tourist attractions. From my place you are at central station in about 20 minutes. From there you can take the train to anywhere in the Netherlands. So you can easily do day trips.
