Our home

Our apartment has an unusual shape for an Amsterdam house. It has a big living room, an open kitchen incl. oven, microwave, refridgerator with freezer, there's a t.v., internet, CD/cassette/radio player, has 2 bathrooms incl. bathtubs, there is also a kitchen upstairs. Upstairs there is a double bed bedroom with adjacent childrens bed. (there's an antique Swedish kitchen couch that could sleep one if needed). Downstairs there are two double bed bedrooms with a possibilty to use two twin beds in a work room. We have a lot of good friends in the neighborhood in case of emergency one can always contact them. We have 2 terasses over looking a nice garden, where you can eat breakfast or dinner. The apartment is on the ground, first floor and splitlevel which is on garden level.

Who we are

  1. My name is Trude, I'm 51 years old, an American with also a Dutch passport, have lived 30 years in Amsterdam, my husband was an Amsterdammer. I work at the Amsterdam School of the Arts, in the dance faculty. My son Rein is a very happy 12 years old boy. We think this is an ideal way to see other places.
