Our home

This is our beautiful monumental apartment in the centre of Amsterdam with a lovely view at the canals. The house was built in the 17th century and we are sure you will love it, like we do. It is Unesco World Heritage. Although it is quite in the centre, it is not too busy and our bedroom is very quiet at the back.
You can walk or take our bicycles to visit all the museums, restaurants or shops.
We have a Fiat500 you can use, but only when we can use your car as well. But to be honest, you don't need a car in Amsterdam.

Second home. First floor, no elevator, but an easy stair.

Who we are

  1. We are a Dutch couple and we live near Utrecht. We have the apartment in Amsterdam, because we love to go there now and then and enjoy the city.
Bram (70) is since several years retired and used to be the CFO of a retail company and Dorine (69) works for the city of Amsterdam as a wedding registrar.
We love to travel and we are mostly interested to explore big cities.
We also have an apartment in the south of France, on the Italian border. We can swap that when you prefer
sun and sea above the city. E-mail us and we can always sent you more pictures.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

When you arrive at Amsterdam airport, you can take the train to the Amsterdam (centre) railway station (about 15 mins) and from there you can walk to our house (about 10 mins) or take a taxi or tram.
That is no problem at all!

To park a car in Amsterdam is sometimes quite difficult and it is very expensive.

We have restaurants, pubs and shops around the corner.
