The residence is situated close to the public transport. The busstop is around the corner and the bus brings you in less than 5 minutes to the train-station or 15 minutes to the town-center. From the train-station the train every 10 minutes to Schiphol airport, Amsterdam Central or Utrecht.

Who we are

  1. We are Tineke and Gerard, a married couple for 50 years. We are both 74 years old. Tineke is a retired nurse and teacher in nursing. Gerard is a retired managing director of a Community College for Further Education in Amsterdam. Our two sons with their partners and children are living in Amsterdam and Almere. We have one daughter, who lives with her partner and two children in Sydney. Home exchange with a family in Sydney seems to us a good opportunity to stay close tot our daughter and grandchildren for a longer time and also enjoy a little independence. We are looking for swaps for a longer period in Sydney, if possible in Chifley or nearby. We like to go once a year about two months. We do home swapping already several years. We try to go to Sydney every year in January an February. However, the dates are flexible.
Non-simultaneous exchanges are also a possibility. We have also a little house in Broquiès in the south of France. If you will visit both the Netherlands and France, its no problem. We adept our stay to one of the residences to your schedule. We always fly between Almere an France with one of the low-budget airlines. We have a car permanent located in France.
If you wish to use our car in Almere or France, it's always possibly.
