Our home

Valle de Bravo is one of the "magic village" sites of Mexico.....it is a weekend retreat for Mexico City..... with a new auto route it is about 1 1/2 hours drive from the City..... there are also good public transport services. From Valle there are many places to explore by car or internal air flights to southern archaeological sites.

Our house is situated on the edge of the Town and is only a 20 min. walk down into the central area.... it has a south orientation with the morning sun coming into the house and with very special sunsets from the first floor looking over the lake and the Penia..... the house is unusual, semi-traditional style, warm in cold weather, cool in warm weather. It features a fire place in the living room, sunny terraces off one of the bedrooms and the dining room, and a very private garden.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Valle de Bravo is a small town situated in pine forests and next to a lake, 2,300mts above sea level. Though many houses are for weekends and holidays only, most of our neighbours in this quiet cul-de-sac live here permanently. The rainy season starts around June, the dry season around October.
