Our home

I live alone but family visits often and it's a very "homey" home with three bedrooms, one king size bed, one queen and a childrens room with two twins. The kitchen is large and fully equiped, opening onto a large patio with garden and lawn. The upstairs hallway is large enough to accomodate a TV room and there is wireless throughout the house. A full service laundry room with washer and dryer is attached to the kitchen. Maid service is available. One room (my personal office) will be shut and locked for the duration. I have a cat and a dog (pug) who will need to be looked after and am willing to do same in Exchange.

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am a freelance writer. I live alone but have family in the Pacific NW who visit often, including grandchildren. I have often thought the idea of home swapping something I wouldn't mind trying and think it would be a great adventure. I am open to looking after pets and have two of my own, a cat and a dog, who would require attention from whomever swaps homes with me (we don't have much in the way of kenneling here yet.) I am open to short or extended stays.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The neighborhood is one of the oldest established in Puerto Vallarta, the house situated across from a canal that is dry in the winter but flowing like a river during rainy season (summer). Close to the beach, several movie theaters, golf courses, horseback riding and jungle adventures. Liverpool Mall has high end shopping, about 10 minutes away. Puerto Vallarta is growing rapidly and has been a major tourist attraction since the early '60s when John Huston filmed The Night of The Iguana south of town. There are water parks, canopy tours, sport fishing, scuba diving and many other attractions. Contacts are available for tours/boating/sightseeing, etc.
