Our home

If you need a break from the stressful city life, fancy all the fun nature and a secluded homestead - this offer is for you. Imagine, a magical recess, inspired by Lithuanian countryside, with small garden, kitchen-garden, fireplace, sauna. Only birds songs, the wind, lake and you.

Our homestead is in Aukstaitias national park. It is a region of hills, lakes, forests and small, cosy villages. 126 lakes are scattered among the woods and hills in this area!!!
We are offering an old, but new renovated house,in absolutely quite area, fireplace, lake, sauna.
It's great place for meditations, yoga, nature lovers, painters, nature photographers, writers...
Oh, there is a boat too. You can spend all day on the water, evening is the best time for sauna or just relaxing in front of the fire.
Autumn is the best time for picking mushrooms, in the summer time our forests are full of berries and medicine herbs.

Property features

Who we are

  1. I`m Donata (36). My husband Raimondas (37) and my daughter (15) live in Utena. It is a small city about 100 km from Vilnius. So, you can live in our homestead in Aukstaitias national park or in our house in Utena.
My English is terrible, I know :). I never learned this language at school or by teacher, so I can read and understand all, but my grammar is very interesting. I`m sorry.
Our hobbies are traveling (last our visited country is Cambodia). I`m the member in Postcrossing - I'm collecting postcards about 3 years.
We live with two cats, so if you are animals lover and don't like empty home- we can leave them in our home for your living time. And we would be happy to look after your pets too!

We are happy to exchange cars.

Ours is second home. The exchange doesn't need to be simultaneous exchange. We keep our homes in perfect condition and will take the same good care of your home as it was ours.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Why Lithuania?
Lithuania is a land of wavering hills, mysterious woods, crystal lakes, and peaceful rivers. It is safe, modern and cheap and small country, so 1,5 hr (about 100km) and you are walking in a romantic old town of Vilnius.
