Who we are

  1. We are a couple about 50 years old. Gian Carlo is architect and Fine Art teacher and Michela is teacher in Italian language. The apartment in Torino is our first home. We have two daughters, they don't leave with us, but sometimes they love to travel with us!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is located near Porta Nuova, the central station of Torino, in a neighbourhood very busy and lively. Very close have market, any shops, bars and restaurants, in spite of all that the apartment is very noiseless. You're in walking distance to many of the most important historical sites, galleries, shops and boutiques of any kind and level, modern and traditional cafes and restaurants. One of Europe's largest open air markets "Porta Palazzo" is nearby (20' walking), so is the Royal Palace, the Cathedral with the Holy Shroud, the Cinema Museum, the Egyptien Museum (2nd in the world). There is a lively scene of music and art events, film festivals etc. Turin is surrounded by high mountains (the Alps), wonderful sites for hiking and skiing. Nearby there are lovely hill landscapes(Langhe)famous for their wine and local food. Two hours south of Turin you reach the seaside (Riviera Ligure) with colourful villages and sandy beaches.
