Our home

Our home is one half of a duplex situated in the heart of beautiful Chianti. We are surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and there's a breathtaking view from the everywhere in the village.

Needless to say that we love it here. The house is wheel chair accessible and we have no stairs. There's a big living room, where we have a computer, a TV computer with Hulu+ and Netflix, closets full of toys, and a sofa. There's also a big well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a table to sit at for about 4 - 6 people.

Furthermore there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a fold out IKEA bed. Right next to it there's another bedroom with a bed and a kid size bed. We do also have air madrases and the sofa can fold out to a double bed as well. We have two bathrooms, one has a walk in shower and the other a bathtub. The third room is an office, but can be converted to a bedroom with the use of one of our IKEA fold out beds or air madrases.

We have a beautiful big garden, a lovely terrace and a laundry room with a washer and a dryer. We have a huge trampoline in the back garden, a hammock and a swing. In the front garden we have a wood fired pizza oven.

Your neighbourhood

We are living in a small, charming, medieval village called San Donato in Poggio and some of the buildings here even date back to the year 800.

There's only about 3 km to the freeway with half an hour's drive to either Siena or Firenze (Florence). There's furthermore a lot to see in our area, other old medieval villages like San Gimignano and Barberino Val D'Elsa, wine castles, public pools and there are good restaurants here as well.

We are in walking distance from a bar with the best caffé latte and the best ice cream, made in the old fashioned way, small local shops and one supermarked.

We are about 1 1/2 hours drive from the beach.
