Our home

Have you ever heard of Margherita di Savoia? Maybe not. This little town, situated in the heart of Apulia and by the sea is perfect if you want relax. In fact it offers the chance to see the second-placed biggest saltworks in Europe! Everything revolves around salt, in fact you can do birdwatching, take a walk with flamingos, go to the beach or go to the baths.
Everything down the street from our beautiful two-room apartment in the historic centre. It's on the first floor and on two different levels. On the first level, there is the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room including a settee that converts into a bed. On the second level, there's a bedroom and a little studio. Hot cold air conditioning. All in 45 m^2.
Finally, we have lots of cities around that is worth visiting such as Gargano area and recreational harbour in Trani (in the pictures), Murge, Tavoliere della Puglia, not to mention Barletta, Trani, Bari, Polignano a Mare and many others. It just depends on how far you want to go, because Apulia is plenty of beautiful cities. For example in the south we have Lecce, Taranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, Porto Cesareo, Gallipoli, Monopoli.
Last not the least information is that we'd like you to visit Margherita di Savoia in the summer, simply because it's a coastal city that makes unforgettable moments under the Mediterrean sun

Who we are

  1. We're four of us. Me, Concetta (52), my husband Michele (58), a son and a fifteen-year-old daughter. Usually our older son (22) doesn't travel with us, but never know.

  2. Me and my husband both work in the field of economy and Sara, our daughter, studies at high school.

  3. Our little apartment reflects our passion for the sea, just think that our walls are all light blue colored!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This apartment is in the centre of the town, so the biggest upside is that you have anything at your fingertips. As far as little information about the place are concerned, imagine that Margherita di Savoia is like a long stripe where you have saltworks on the left, the sea on the right and of course the town itself in the middle. There are a few neighbourhoods, like "Isola Verde" and "Città Giardino", but they're all out of town.
Our economy is basically based on fishing and agriculture (please do not think we're old-fashioned, we're plenty of anything that can be considered modern), so here you'll find lots of restaurants, which I highly recommend, with local fish. Not to mention some of the best pastry shops ever!
