Our home

This is our holiday apartment in the village of Gaiole in Chianti, which is in the province of Siena. The apartment has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and space for another fold-up bed if required. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge which can sleep a further two people. There is a dining table and chairs which can cater for six people. There is an outside table and chairs and BBQ on the small terrace on the property. There is a communal swimming pool and a gym. The property overlooks the communal terrace, vineyards and the village of Gaiole.

Who we are

  1. We are John and Angela. We are both professionals (lawyer and midwife). We have three children, aged 10, 8 and 3. We are from Belfast, Northern Ireland and we like to look upon ourselves as easy going kind of people. We like to travel when we can and are looking forward to being able to exchange our holiday apartment in Tuscany for other exciting destinations.

The apartment is in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany. The apartment is within 5 minute walking distance of the village which contains shops, restaurants, banks,pizza takeaway, pharmacy etc. It is about a 30 minute drive to Siena through the Chianti countryside. It is about a 1 hour drive to Florence or Arrezo, both of which can also be accessed by train from nearby Montevarchi. The Chianti region is famous for its wine and olive oil. Siena, Florence and Arrezo are rich in culture, art and history.
