Our home

Our house is located between Florence and Siena. It is a modern house in an antique setting, with great views from all directions. Although it’s in the country, it is just five minutes from the main Florence-Siena motorway.
The house is on two levels, with two bathrooms. The lower level is open plan with a sitting room, kitchen, fireplace, bathroom and storage area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each can sleep two persons. And a fully-equipped bathroom.
Outside there is a large garden with two dining areas and a laundry space. In the summer it is possible to dine outside regularly.
However, probably the best thing about the house is its location. The countryside around here is truly charming and there are wonderful walks (and drives) in all directions. This is Chianti, wine-making country. Not far from San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Arezzo and other famous Renaissance art cities. And Florence.
The Mediterranean sea is one hour away by car. Pleasant bathing.
Rome and Venice are not so far away with high-speed trains bringing the travel time down to two or three hours from Florence.
