Our home

The house is ideal for a family that prefer tranquility and peace. It has got all the commodities and the outside space makes it perfect for enjoying the garden, eating outside and relaxing. All the local facilities like shops or banks are minutes away by car or bus, in the nearby town of San Vincenzo. In San Carlo itself you can find typical restaurants offering tasty Tuscan cuisine. If you like sport, there are tennis camps and cycling track, but don’t forget that there are wonderful beaches with all the facilities nearby.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Anna and Mario and have one teenager daughter, Marta. This summer house is our second residence where we usually spend our holidays. I'm an Art professor and like travelling a lot, visiting museums and galleries across the world. My husband, who is a Business Manager, travels a lot for work but also enjoys exploring new cities and culture in his free time.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is situated in the historical village of San Carlo, on the hills 3 kilometers away from San Vincenzo and its beaches. San Carlo is immersed in greenery of the Mediterranean spot and its main attractions are natural caves and wells. There are various excursions which leave from San Carlo and can be done in the hills with splendid views.

Wonderful white sandy beaches are nearby and they extend for kilometers on the cobalt sea. There is also a pinewood with walking paths where it’s possible to do the trekking or go horse riding. The Rimigliano Park, a rich and protected reserve, is near the Etruscan remains of Baratti and Campiglia and the spas of Venturina and it makes this ambient ideal for interesting visits to the Etruscan Coast.

The position of San Carlo makes it ideal for visiting all the art cities in Tuscany, such as Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Grosseto and Pisa, all of which can be reached in about an hour by car or by train (taking it from San Vincenzo).
