Our home

My flat is in a little historical building in a limited traffic area, the neighbourhood is typically Italian and very quiet. From the windows of the living room you can see the bell tower and the remains of eighteenth-century frescoes.
I live in this flat, so I wish that you respect it like your own house please.
I have got a cat, Shirin. It's very timid and quiet but it can get nervous, so I suggest to leave it alone or to be a little gentle with it. It loves sleeping in my room, on my bedroom. So I prefer exchange only the guest room.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Hi, my name is Susanna.
Born in Brazil, grew up and studied in Italy (Turin), lived for short periods in Lisbon and in Lyon, I live in Rovereto, a little town in Trentino (northern Italy, near Dolomites).

  2. I work as press office in a modern and contemporary art museum and I'm interested in contemporary languages (arts, dance, theatre, movies, design).

  3. I love hiking, mostly in mountains, and experience cities.
Sometimes I travel alone, sometimes with my partner or with a friend.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

My flat is in a little historical building (eighteenth-century!) in a limited traffic area, the neighbourhood is typically Italian and very quiet. From the windows of the living room you can see the bell tower and the remains of eighteenth-century frescoes.
The apartment is near museums, theatres, typical restaurants, cycle paths, lakes, mountains and the breathtaking view of Dolomites. I chose to come and live in Trentino for its life quality and for its cultural offer.

Touristic infos
Trentino is situated in the very north of Italy bordering Südtirol, It is best known for the beauty of its peaks (the most beautiful Alps in Europe: the Dolomites - UNESCO heritage!), for wonderful lakes and historical small cities.
My apartment is located in Rovereto the right place for those who love art, sports and Italian food and wine.
45 min from Verona or Bolzano, 2 hours from Bergamo airport, 2,5 hour from Milan and Venice.
You can reach Rovereto by cycle, train, bus, flixbus, but I suggest to come by car (or rent one) for exploring easily mountains, lakes, cities and villages.
From here, cities of Verona, Trento and Bolzano can be more easily reached also by train during the day (not at night).
Some of biggest Italian museum are here: Mart (modern and contemporary art) and Muse (science), for example. There are music, theatre and dance international festivals, and historical places such as castles, forts, trenches.
And if you love nature and sports, in Trentino you can choose from more than a thousand kilometres of paths and 400 kilometres of cycle paths, lake and snow sports, free climbing.

In Rovereto I suggest:
1) Mart museum if you love modern and contemporary art
2) Casa Depero, the only museum founded by a futurist (Fortunato Depero, born in Trentino), if you love art and graphic art
2) the view from Campana dei Caduti if you love contemporary history and landscape
2) Caffè museum and Caffetteria Bontadi if you love Italian coffee

Nearby the "must place to visit" is Dolomites or some lake. The most famous is Garda Lake, but I often choose Lamar Lakes or Tenno Lake or Caldonazzo Lake.
And more, visit cites of Trento and Bolzano and its historical streets and churches, or spend your relaxing time in thermal baths and sauna in Merano.
Last but not least, the wine and gastronomy in Trentino are excellent.
