Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Many Art Nouveau houses were built on the waterfront and some buildings in Stile Littorio and Rationalism is in downtown. Ostia is connected to Rome by the Rome-Lido railway line, It takes about 30 minutes to get from Lido Centro to Rome (Ostiense Station). The Fiumicino Airport is to 10 min. by taxi. The area is very quite but there are supermarkets, restaurants, shopping, gyms, big pinewood and only 1 block from the beach. On the beach you can do Tennis, Jogging, Swimming, Walking, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing. In the evening, as opposed to Rome, Ostia is very cool and pleasant walks on the beach where there are many nice pub and restaurants.
