Our home

Our home is an apartment at the ground floor of an historical building that has a garden all around. We have a private large garden (100 square m.) that confines with the private villa Albani whose owner is Principe Torlonia, with two tables, chairs, beach umbrella many plants and in particular a beautiful lemon tree. Inside there is a large kitchen where we usually eat, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms one with a double bed, one (children's bedroom) with a single bed, a baby bed, and a sofa bed, in the living room there is a double sofa bed. There is wood floor. During summer the house is fresh and agreeable, during winter is well heated. We have many bikes that you can, one has a bike seat for children.

Who we are

  1. We are a Nicoletta and Giovanni, a married couple with two children (girls) of seven and two years old. I'm professor at the University and my husband Giovanni is a photographer. We enjoy travelling around, we have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another place as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live a very beautiful part of Rome. Villa Borghese and Villa Torlonia (public parks) is less then 10 minutes walking, Villa Ada 20 minutes. There are many public buses stops around to go anywhere in the city in particular to go to Termini railway station, the nearest metro stop is 10-15 minutes walking. At 5 minutes walking there is a shopping area with supermarkets, a fruit and food market, a biological food shop, dress shops, jewelries, wine shops, book shops, cinemas, restaurants, pizzerias, art galleries and there is also the MACRO, the museum of contemporary art of Rome.
