Our home

My apartment is immersed in a quite and green area of Monteverde Nuovo. It overlooks an interior private space full of bougainvillea, oleanders, jasmines and many other flowering plants and trees. The apartment is part of a “palazzina” (typical roman residential building of the 60's), which it is accessed from a private street.
Rome is a very chaotic city and our home instead is in one of the most relaxed and silence residential district: we consider our place as a great retreat where we can finally relax after a day of hard work or full immersion in the intense life of the city.

The apartment is a detached portion of the home were we live. It is furnished with antiques and handicraft objects patiently selected overtime. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, a living room, a comfortable bedroom with double bed, a bathroom, a small terrace.
It is perfect for two people. However we could provide a sofa bed in the living room, and/or add an extra bed in the bedroom.

Who we are

  1. Hello! My name is Beatrice, I am an Italian architect and an university professor.
I like to travel with my family, husband Marco and son Davide, and/or with my cousin Francesca.
Above all we like to visit urban environments, modern or old cities and we enjoy to return there many times.
We loved the idea of becoming familiar with the places we explore; we hope that we could deeply understand and appropriate their cultures and feel at home like we are in Rome or Alghero!
We are in our mid-fifties. My husband is a software engineer, my son will shortly go to college, my cousin works in the tourism sector.
We love arts and culture, and our homes reflects our passions: books, paintings, antique furniture.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is very close to a renowned commercial street where it will be possible to find markets, bakeries, gelaterie (Tony and Otaleg which are among the best in Rome) shops and restaurants. Near by the wonderful renaissance Villa Doria-Pamphili: the largest public park of Rome where fitness paths run among fountains, artificial lakes and umbrella pines woods.
The area is well connected to Trastevere and Piazza Venezia. Several bus stops are located in the apartment’s proximity; with 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes bus ride it is possible to connect to "tram 8" line which brings directly to the historical center, Roman Forum / Colosseum. It is also conveniently close to Stazione Trastevere, the FR1 train station and the shuttle train to Tiburtina High-speed Train Station and Fiumicino Airport.
