Welcome to Rome! We live in Monteverde (Monteverde means 'green mountain' and is named after the hill that the district is located on) one of the most centrally neighborhoods in Rome.
The main attraction is Villa Doria Pamphilj, which used to be private property of the Pamphili family, but is now a wonderful public park, the largest in Rome. The other attraction of the Monteverde is the Gianicolo (or Janiculum), the hill that affords the best view of Rome.
Monteverde has a very convenient public transport connections to the city-centre and from/to the main train station and airport.

City Center - Tram-Line Nr. 8- in service 24 hours (during the night bus Nr. N8)- takes you within 15 minutes to the city centre: Trastevere, Largo Argentina , Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia and Via del Corso.

To/from Fiumicino International Airport - The airport shuttle-train takes approximately 20 minutes to take you from Trastevere railway station to the airport. You can reach Trastevere Station from our appartament by 4 minutes walking or getting the tram line 8 for just one stop.

To/From Train station Roma Termini - Train from Trastevere railway station takes you within 10 minutes to Roma Termini, Bus H in 20 minutes.
