Our home

I offer you an 85 m2 (approx. 900 sq. ft.) apartment at the fifth flour of an early 20th century building with green courtyards, doorman and elevator in a quiet but central area. The apartment has 3 rooms (living room, bedroom, office) plus a separate dining area, kitchen and bathroom. It is full of light and has high ceilings. It is equipped with high-speed Internet, digital TV, DVD player, stereo, dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove and oven and an independent heating system. It can sleep 4 people, 2 in the bedroom's queen size bed, and 2 in the sofa-bed in the office. A maid comes regularly once a week and if you so wish she could come also during your stay.

Who we are

  1. I'm Mariateresa, I'm 45 and I work at the WWF communications department. I love travelling and I often travel for my work, too. I'm quite tempted by this home exchange idea. I love my apartment, I am a neat person and I'd take care of your home as it were mine. I love reading and going to the movies. Since my boyfriend is more of a stay-at-home type, I share my travelling passion with my favourite travelling-mate and friend Alessandra.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

5-10 minutes by bus from the historical centre (Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Via Condotti, Fontana di Trevi?) and very close to some of the most renowned parks in Rome (Villa Borghese, Villa Glori, Villa Ada). Just in front of the building you can find the newest museum in town - Maxxi (National Museum of 21st Century Arts) designed by Zaha Hadid. At a walking distance you have the Auditorium Parco della Musica ? a "cultural factory" in the words of its architect Renzo Piano and you also have the Olympic Stadium for soccer fans. There's a big bus hub just next to the building with buses going almost everywhere in town. The area itself offers a big marketplace, shops, restaurants and services of any kind.
