Our home

We offer a quite large apartment on the first floor in a modern building in the city centre of Rome just beside Termini railway station. There is a very large double living room with dining table, sofa (kingsize bed), lots of international books, cd's en dvd's. The bedrooms are quite spacious: the child's bedroom has a regular bed. The kitchen is small but comfortable. The two balconies overlook a schoolyard (school closed in July-August). There isn't air conditioning but the house stays quite cool in the summer.Broadband and wireless internet connection available.

Who we are

  1. We're in our forties and have a 3 years old daughter. Massimo is a consultant and often travels to China. Francesca is a language teacher and (Dutch) literature lecturer at university. Caterina hasn't made up her mind yet, but is very interested in ice cream.
We could also offer our living room and sofa-bed to a couple for a weekend or short period at other times.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

It is located in the neighbourhood of San Lorenzo (named after its old cathedral), close to the central station. From there you can reach the very centre (Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, etc., and parks) by bus, underground or walking (20 mins ca.). San Lorenzo is a lively area with lots of restaurants and pubs, but we live in a quiet street.
