Our home

The flat was completely restructured and refurbished in December 2010. It is exquisitely furnished, extremely quiet as all windows overlook inner courts, and very comfortable. It is located on 2nd floor of a 17th century building in the renown 'Rione Monti': the trendiest, most ancient and authentic part of Rome, full of small shops, art galleries, restaurants and cafes, just a stone throw away from the main attractions (Colosseum, Imperial Fora, Fontana di Trevi): in a nutshell, everything is at your doorstep! The two-storey flat offers you everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasurable, with its fully equipped kitchen and table for 4, a bright living room with spacious cupboard and sofa bed for two, a flat-screen TV and IPod dock station, a guest WC, a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.

Who we are

  1. We are an Italian family living in Vienna (Austria), who love travelling above all things as we do it both for our professional life and in our free time. I (Manuela) am a free-lance conference interpreter and my husband Gerardo is a UN official working in the area of industrial development. Our two daughters, 6 and 10 respectively, attend an International School, and love travelling as much as we do. We are non-smokers, very clean & tidy and have the utmost respect to other's property and belongings. Consequently we expect the same in return.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The Rione Monti District is one of the oldest areas of Rome and currently comprises the area that revolves around Via Nazionale, the Roman streets such as Via del Boschetto and Via dei Serpenti, till the area of ancient Rome such as Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Roman Colosseum. Rich in historical monuments and churches, the district of Rione Monti is perhaps the area most frequented by tourists and Romans alike. In the evening the area becomes a real hot spot of nightlife in Rome. The main streets and small historic streets are full of restaurants where you can enjoy delicious typical dishes. During the hour of the aperitif, both in summer and winter, the streets are crowded with people coming to spend the evening in the most exclusive clubs of the city, such as La Barrique, one of the most frequented wine bars of Rione Monti. After dinner there are plenty of night clubs and cocktail bars to drink and dance until late at night, surrounded by the beautiful sights of Rome.
